Why Organic

Why Organic

Why organic? Because that’s the way nature would do it!

We’re big believers in everything natural. Our bodies are not designed to process the large amount of sugars, chemicals and additives in our foods that we consume on a daily basis.

When you look at the total amount of artificial and toxic substances we consume in our foods and spread, spray and lather on ourselves in pursuit of vanity or fast living, it’s no surprise so many of us are facing burnout in our lives.

We are living faster lives on toxic food!

And in most cases, there is no good reason for adding chemicals to food other than greedy profit. Prolonging shelf life, making a product cheaper, making it more attractive looking, adding salt/fat/sugar to trick the brain into desiring it more – teams of scientists are employed by big companies to figure all this stuff out. And it has nothing to do with your health and everything to do with separating you from your money, more often. It’s sad really.

We don’t believe in any of that nonsense.

We want to produce foods that are organic and that fuel the body naturally. Organic should be the standard and foods with chemicals should have special stickers placed on them.

Giving our body what it needs to live and repair itself is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. Organic foods are only one part of the solution to the complex sense of burden many people feel. De-stressing our lives, building strong communities and a strong network of friends, family and sense of belonging are the other elements.

The drive to produce cheaper and cheaper food using chemicals is killing both the environment and people. Cheap food is cheap because of the way it is made and what it contains. It is processed to be addictive.

We need to recognise that the slightly crooked carrot grown just outside town in a local organic farm is more healthy and nutritious.

Yes, we’re about saving the world! 🙂
